When our company considered ways to connect our thirty-four local property management offices to our central office and improve call handling capabilities, we realized how few systems are capable of meeting our needs and requirements. Through our own research, we decided on an open source VoIP software package called Asterisk. Our internal IT staff set about testing it and soon decided to bring in some experts.

We contacted Centritech with our RFP relating to the development of a test deployment involving seven of our remote property offices. Through working with Centritech, we were able to successfully deploy the new system and deploy it to production use. Here are some specific reasons we like working with Centritech and recommend them to other companies:

They recommend the right hardware with the right features by listening to our needs and fully understanding what we need to get our work done.
They make good suggestions about ways to improve call handling which is obviously backed by extensive real world experience.
The inclusion of all possible call system features made it easy to do anything we wanted.

In the summer of 2008, my business partner and I created an executive office center that had special phone requirements. We needed the capability to quickly set up and remove phone service for our clients, without waiting on the phone company. We were also aware of Voice over IP (VoIP) technology and we knew the potential cost savings it afforded. What we were lacking was the technology knowledge to be able to install and run this ourselves.

Luckily for us, I was introduced to Scott Brown from Centritech at a business meeting. Scott and his staff met and exceeded our expectations when it came to the implementation and continued support for our phone system. This system is comprised of a T1 purchased from a local SIP provider, an Asterisk UNIX-based phone server and Linksys VoIP phones all running on CAT5 cables and using POE switches. We currently have 27 phones in place, with the capability to add another 70 phones. We also use ATA TAP devices to allow fax machines to be on the network. Scott trained us to do the great majority of all the changes to the system, adding and deleting phones, updating the system information and minor troubleshooting. Centritech has been responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. We enjoy the ongoing relationship we have with them and I would recommend their services to another organization.
